I have mentioned a few times before this side project called Elfbone. It has been on my brain for a while now (two years? somewhere in that neighborhood). Sometimes I dig it out and do some inspirational work. This is one of those times.

This is an elf chick of Moonshine House. In this setting there are Five Great Houses: Moonshine, Sunblazer, Skulldome, Petalcrown, and Wolfhollow. Each House has a style and culture all its own. I think Moonshine house is kind of the alt/goth crowd of the elfish world. They do a lot of magic stuff and love the night and all that jazz.

Right now this project is very much in the infancy stage. I have several story concepts and a few scripts but I haven’t settled on what it’s really about just yet. The main sticking point is rating. It is, at minimum, a PG-13 concept because one of the primary goals is to draw sexy elf chicks. But most of the doodles and concepts push it far into the R realm. And some go farther than that…

But most likely this will be a big ole T’n'A comic with lots of top heavy elf babes, gnarly old wizards, and ugly monsters living in caves. Because that’s just the kind of guy I am.
